The question I chose to focus on was, how the afterlife of a Pharaoh was represented in the text?
After reading I took notice that Egyptians viewed death differently than most other civilizations. Instead of ignoring death or being callous about death the Egyptians celebrated death and would often have ceremonies. Through hieroglyphs we have determined that after these Pharaohs died they were believed to live eternally with the other gods and fallen Pharaohs. Even during their life these Pharaohs were seen to be above man and could only be bequeathed this high power of being a Pharaoh. They were pampered all their life and rarely would lift a finger. Although this sounds like the perfect life I don't think I could go my whole life as a Pharaoh.
